Board Member

Karl Boroski

Karl Boroski is the Founder and Executive Director of Rope Youth, a Midland-area nonprofit dedicated to supporting at-risk youth through mentoring, redirection, and community programs. Drawing on his own experience overcoming childhood adversity, Karl created ROPE Youth to help young people build resilience, accountability, and positive life pathways through structured mentoring, prevention programs, and community outreach. Under his leadership, Rope Youth has grown to offer multiple programs that address food insecurity, character development, and youth empowerment. Karl is deeply engaged in the Permian Basin community and regularly works to expand opportunities for young people to thrive socially and academically.

Victor Hernandez

Victor Hernandez brings more than a decade of hands-on experience in Permian Basin energy operations, specializing in geosteering, well planning, and operational geology. He has supported complex drilling and development programs across multiple operators, providing real-time geological guidance, operations planning, and data-driven analysis to improve well placement, safety, and efficiency. Victor’s background includes long-term roles in geosteering and planning, where he collaborated closely with engineers, geologists, and field teams to translate subsurface data into practical execution. He also brings strong strengths in data analysis, visualization, and cross-disciplinary communication, supported by formal training in data analytics and an Associate of Science degree. Victor is passionate about connecting real-world technical careers to education pathways and supporting initiatives that help students build practical, workforce-ready skills.

Eric Mcmanus

Eric McManus is an innovation and growth professional playing a key role in bringing West Texas’ first aerial drone testing facility, Permian Proving Grounds, to life. He focuses on expanding market opportunities and building strategic partnerships across technology and innovation sectors. He is actively engaged in strengthening regional ecosystems, with work spanning aerospace, cybersecurity, workforce development, and economic growth across Texas. He regularly shares insights on emerging industry trends and contributes to conversations around space, advanced technology, and cross-sector collaboration.

Alexandra Newberry

Alexandra Newberry is the owner and creative force behind Newberry Media, a Midland-area media services organization that helps organizations plan, produce, and distribute visual, digital, and written content. She leads the company in empowering clients to clarify their message, engage audiences, and tell stories that resonate across platforms. She brings a strong eye for strategic communication and creative production to her work, supporting local businesses, nonprofits, and community initiatives with high-quality media solutions. Through her leadership, Newberry Media plays a key role in strengthening regional visibility and storytelling impact.

Adam Reed

Adam Reed is the co-owner and creative lead of Filmhunter Media, a Midland, Texas–based production and digital media company that helps businesses and organizations tell compelling stories through video, livestreaming, photography, and strategic content distribution. He brings expertise in storytelling and video production to the team, helping expand Filmhunter Media’s capabilities and local creative network. Under his leadership, the company has grown beyond traditional videography to offer marketing and media solutions that build visibility, engage audiences, and elevate client brands.
